Kamsune/Unsune songs of Asha Bhosle – 42

Next rare song sung by Asha Bhosle is from a flop film – Bikhre Moti released in 1971.

“Ek Nazar Chahoon Main Halki Halki” is written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and is set to tune by Laxmikant Pyarelal.

“Bikhre Moti-1971” was directed by Chanakya for Gita Shree Films. It was produced by Omee Arora. The film starred Jeetendra, Babita, Sujit Kumar, Nazir Hussain, Tarun Bose, Asit Sen, Shabnam, Irshad Panjtan, Murad, Uma Dutt, C.S. Dubey, Chand, Yusuf, Prem, Roma, Baby Shobha, Baby Nasarat, Master Ratan, Master Manoj, with Helen and Kamini Kaushal.

Story

Sulochana, a young widow, rescues the only daughter, Leela, of a wealthy man from a terrible accident—but in doing so, she loses connection with her own two young sons. The millionaire, grateful for her bravery, names her the legal guardian of Leela in his will before passing away.

Separated by fate, Sulochana’s two sons are raised in contrasting worlds:

Anand is rescued by Inspector Ram Prakash and grows up to become a dedicated police officer. Gopi, on the other hand, ends up growing into a notorious criminal.

Unaware of their shared roots, fate brings the brothers into conflict—they even fall for the same woman, Leela, sparking an intense rivalry.

On the day Anand is to marry Leela, Inspector Ram Prakash is tragically killed while chasing criminals—Gopi and another criminal, Jeevan—shattering Leela’s sanity.

Anand vows to remain unmarried until he brings the culprits to justice. In his pursuit, he discovers that Gopi is responsible.

Meanwhile, Sulochana recognizes Gopi as her missing son through a distinctive childhood mark—and their paths converge with dramatic revelations.

Jeevan, revealed to be the brothers’ long-lost father, helps soften the conflict. Realizing Anand is his son, Jeevan refrains from harming him. Ultimately, the family is reunited.

Song-Ek nazar chaahoon main halkee halkee (Bikhre Moti)(1971) Singer-Asha Bhonsle, Lyrics-Majrooh Sultanpuri, MD-Laxmikant Pyarelal

Lyrics:

ek nazar chaahoon main halkee halkee
ek nazar chaahoon main halkee halkee
haan yehee keemat hai mere dil kee
ek nazar chahoon
jo ek nigaah de sake
wahee mujhe khareed le
ek nazar chaahoon
ek nazar chaahoon main halkee halkee
ek nazar chaahoon

aankhon mein dekho hamaaree
din bhee hai rain bhee
aaha aaha
aa aa
dilwaale kehte hain inko
nain bhee chain bhee
neelam see neenden in mein basey
motee se sapne in mein hanse
kisee ko yeh bula bhee le
to phir usey chhupa bhee le
palken dhalkee dhalkee
ek nazar chaahoon main halkee halkee
ek nazar chaahoon

chooma mujhe chaandnee ne
tan badan
vaar ke
aaha aaha
aa aa
le le labon ke nageene
jo chhuye
pyaar se
pyaalee mein aa ke chanda dhale
subha talak yeh mehfil chale
dilon se dillagee rahe
dabee dabee hansee rahe
mukh pe jhalkee jhalkee
ek nazar chahoon main halkee halkee
haan yehee keemat hai mere dil kee
ek nazar chahoon
jo ek nigaah de sake
wahi mujhe khareed le
ek nazar chahoon
ek nazar chahoon main halkee halkee
ek nazar chaahoon
