“Abla”(1941) was directed by R N Vaidya for Bharat Photophones Limited, Bombay. This highly obscure movie had Heeralal, Shyam Narayan, Dar Kashmiri, Akbar Khan, Ghulam Mohammad, Sunder, Raja Babu, Chandrika, Suryakumari, Dev Kumari, Sheela, Gulzar etc in it.
“Abla”(1941) had six highly obscure songs in it that were not available online in the past. One song from this movie was covered in 2019.
I notice that another song from “Abla”(1941) is now available. Here is this song. It is sung by Akbar Khan Durrani Peshawari. Pt Gyan Chandra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Khursheed Khan.
Only audio of the song is available. It sounds like a song that is typically sung by a fakeer in Hindi movies. I request our knowledgeable reaaders to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of the song.
I have not been able to get a word or two words in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to help decipher the missing word/ words and suggest corrections wherever applicable.
