“Maa Baap”(1960) was produced by Trikambhai Dave and directed by V M Vyas for Ratnadeep Pictures, Bombay. This movie had Rajendra Kumar, Kamini Kadam, Peace Kanwal, Pran, Anwar, Kumar, Naaz, Bipin Gupta, Kuldeep Kaur, Sundar, Kusum, Romi, Leela Mishra, Baby Shobha, Keshav, Pratap Bhansali, Roop Kumar, Dinanath, Tribhuvan Sinha, Madan Sahgal, Leela Chitnis etc in it.
“Maa Baap”(1960) had eight songs in it. Four songs have been covered in the blog.
Here is the fifth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Rafi. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Chitragupta.
This song, hoping for a time when mankind will no longer harbour feelings of hatred and selfishness is lip synced on screen by Rajendra Kumar. Kamini Kadam is also seen in the picturisation.
