“Bade Ghar Ki Bahu”(1960) was produced by J S Puri and was directed by Kundan Kumar. The movie had Geeta Bali, Abhi Bhattacharya, Kuldeep Kaur, Sunder, Shammi, Neeru, Bhagwan Sinha, Niranjan Sharma, Chanda Bai, Sheila Vaz, Nagpal etc. in it. The movie had seven songs in it. Six songs have been covered in the blog.

It can be observed that all songs in the movie were solo songs. Asha Bhonsle was the main singer who sang as many as five solo songs in it. Two of them were picturised on Geeta Bali. One song each were lip synced by Kuldeep Kaur, Sheila Vaz and Shammi respectively.
The movie also haad two male solo songs in it. One song sung by Rafi and picturised on Sunder was the last song from the movie to be covered in the blog.
Here is the seventh and final song from “Bade Ghar Ki Bahu”(1960) to appear in the blog. This song is a male solo song which is sung by Mahendra Kapoor. It is picturised as a bidai song by a character playing a fakeer/ beggar. I am unable to identify the actor. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify him who is visible only momentarily towards the end of the song.
Tanvir Naqvi is the lyricist of this song that describes the role of a newly wedded Bhartiya naari in her Husband’s home. Chitragupta is the music director.
With this song, all the songs of “Bade Ghar Ki Bahu”(1960) have been covered in the blog. The movie thus gets YIPPEED in the blog.
