“Imtihaan”(1949) was directed by Mohan Sinha for Veena Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Surendra, Madhubala, Gulab, Sajjan, Munshi Khanjar, Rekha, Madan Puri, Y n Joshi, Jugnu, Cuckoo etc n it.
This social movie had ten songs in it that were penned by four lyricists.
One song of “Imtihaan”(1949) has been covered in the blog. That song was inroduced in the blog nine years ago in 2016.
Here is the second song from “Imtihaan”(1949) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Surendra. Harikrishna Premi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shyambabu Pathak.
Only the audio of this rare song is available, but it is clear that this song was picturised on himself.
