“Sati Anusuya”(1956) was produced by Sharad Desai and directed by Dhirubhai Desai for Sharad Prdouctions, Bombay. The movie had Sumitra Devi, Manhar Desai, Sulochana, Niranjan Sharma, B.M. Vyas, Sundar, Suryakant, Indira Bansal, Malay Sarkar, Neelkamal, Indira, Jawahar Kaul, Anandkand, Sudarshan Sethi, Kanchanmala, Damayanti Joshi, Prabha Shankar, Sohan Lal, Santosh Kumar, Neena Kumari, Nisha Kumari, Dilip etc in it.
“Sati Anusuyaa-1956” had ten songs in it. Three songs from the movie have been covered in the blog.
Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is written by Bharat Vyas. Music is composed by Shivram.
Video of the song is available. My guess is that the song is lip synced by Sumitra Devi, but I am not sure. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
