Today (12 November 2023) is “Deepaawali”, the festival of lights.
In some of my earlier posts discussing Deepawali, I have opined that Indians are not performing Laxmi Puja the right way and that is why we are not being adequately blessed by Goddess Laxmi. In those posts, I alluded to our habits (passed down to us over generations) that was keeping us poor.

“Hazaar Raaten”(1953) was produced and directed by Jayant Desai. The movie had Rehana, Agha, Bipin Gupta, Manhar Desai, Cuckoo, Satyanarayan, Kuldeep Akhtar, Rewashankar, Gajendra Singh, Yunus, Shakuntala, Anir Banu etc in it.
