Aadi Narayana Rao and directed by Vedantam Raghavaiah in 1957, the Hindi version Suvarna Sundari (original in Telugu) is rightfully remembered most for its iconic raagmalika (a multi-raag number) – perhaps a first in a Hindi movie – the famed Lata-Rafi duet Kuhu-kuhu bole koyaliya.
