The other day when this song from the film Takshak(1999) appeared in the blog, it invoked memories of another film song of the same actors, a similar dance song, where Tabu is dancing with a group of girls, in day light this time. Badi naazuk hai ye manzil

Today (8th February) is the birthday anniversary of Jagjit Singh. On this occasion, here is a ghazal sung by him.

The ghazal is from a movie that is quite new by the standards of this movie. Mr Sadanand Kamath, who sent me the lyrics of this movie allayed my fears by assuring me that the song does have the familiar old world feel about it which we are used to in the songs that are discussed in this blog.
