There are many Shammi Kapoor fans out there. And they keep asking me to post Shammi Kapoor songs.
What is it that the Shammi fans like about these songs ? They love the way Shammi Kapoor teases his heroines, woos them, makes them blush and finally, as the song is drawing to a close, we see her coming into his arms.
Here is another Shammi Kapoor song, but with a difference. Here the heroine, Ameeta is teasing and wooing Shammi. And I love to see how Shammi responds when he is at the receiving end. He is just as uncomfortable as his heroines are with his advances. Wow, I love this song for this reason. Way to go, Ameeta !
As a singer, Asha performs the role that is normally assigned to Rafi in a Shammi Kapoor song, viz belting out a mast number And Asha performs the task with aplomb.

Lovely song.
And yes, for once, Shammi is at the receiving end of the heroine’s teasing. 🙂 Makes for a welcome change.
Mind you, this was the movie that changed his career completely. Maybe he was still “finding his style” during this song.
Talking of Ameeta, I also find her very pretty. I remember seeing her also in Goonj Uthi Shehnai and Mere Mehboob (second heroine). She may not have been a top heroine but she has her share of hits.

This is a great service to the hindi movie lovers. Thanks for your time and effort to bring this to the gerenal public. These are the rare songs, pictures, clips. I understand how much time it takes to bring this here. Appriciated. Please keep up the good work. People should not complain. On the contrary compliment you for your hard work.
I love the movie TUMSA NAHI DEKHA. I might have watched it may be five, six times…All the songs were hit songs. Thank you very much.
