Ye jo chilman hai

During Rajesh Khanna’s heydays, it was Kishore Kumar who was the playback singer for most of the songs picturised on him. But there were a few exceptions, too.
There were a few Rajesh Khanna movies of those days, especially with Laxmikant Pyarelal as music director, where Rafi sang for Rajesh Khanna. And what awesome songs they were !
“Mehboob Ki Mehandi” (1971) was one such Rajesh Khanna movie. Laxmikant Pyarelal was the music director and Anand Bakshi was the lyricist of this movie.
Here is an amazing song sung by Rafi. “Ye jo chilman hai” is this song which was picturised on Rajesh Khanna and Leena Chandawarkar.
The voice quality of Rafi in this song is just awesome. And let us not forget the contribution of Anand Bakshi who wrote this remarkably popular song. Laxmikant Pyarelal were in their elements in this song, as they invariably were, in most of the songs composed by them.

Very good song from Aap Ki Kasam of Super Star Rajesh Khanna. Good Atul keep it up and thanks for sharing
