“Shaahjahan” (1946) was full of K L Saigal classic songs. I have already posted quite a few songs from this movie.
Here is another wonderful K L Saigal song from this movie. “Chaah barbaad karegi hamen maaloom na tha” is the song. Written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and composed by Naushad, this song is sung in an unbelievably low pitch by K L Saigal. with mortals, this would spoil the song, but such is the singing quality that the song sounds wonderful in the voice of the maestro.
