Main to tum sang nain milaake haar gayi sajna

I have posted a superb Kishore Kumar song from “Manmauji”(1962) in the past that went “Zaroorat hai zaroorat hai”. It was a playful light hearted song and showed that Madan Mohan could compose this kind of songs as well.
Considering that Madan Mohan was the music director of this movie, one can reasonably expect at least one immortal Lata- Madan Mohan classic in this movie. And indeed one is not disappointed. This movie too has one superb Lata- Madan Mohan composition. The lyrics are written beautifully by Rajinder Krishan and this song is picturised on Sadhana.

I am delighted to see this post. Your observation about this song are true. I am sometimes tempted to say that this could be the best Madan Mohan song. The problem is that I feel the same way about a number of his songs. It is better to simply enjoy the songs instead of worrying about which one is the best.
