Ham bekhudi me tumko pukaare chale gaye

In 1950s and 1960s, most leading actors stuck to the some particualar playback singers, whose voices, they thought suited them. Thus we had Mukesh singing for Raj Kapoor, Rafi singing for Shammi Kapoor etc.
But Dev Anand was one leading actor who had not one but two playback singers singing for him. In some movies, it was Rafi singing for him, and in others, it was Kishore Kumar. And both these playback singers have given us some memorable songs to cherish.
In “Kaala Paani” (1958), it was Rafi who sang for Dev Anand. Here is a nice and memorable song from this movie. “Ham bekhudi me tumko pukaare chale gaye” is such a wonderful timeless song that it has not lost its freshness even after 50 years.

You are absolutely right about the eternal freshness of this wonderful song from Kala Pani, which also has several other notable gems, especially the duet, ACHHA JI MAIN HAARI.
