Tod diya dil mera

“Andaaz” (1949) seemed to have only piano songs in it. Dilip Kumar had many piano songs in this movie. This particular song is not sung by Mukesh ( for Dilip Kumar) but by Lata ( for Nargis) and this too is a Piano song of sorts.
Nargis, on being rebuked by some elderly female relative takes the last resort available to a Bollywood actor, viz singing a sad song. and since her residence had a piano handy ( the same one on which Dilip Kumar sings all those songs in this movie), she goes near it and sings this sad song.
Thae fact that she does not sit on the piano in the prescribed position and merely rests on it with her back resting on the piano, like it was a bed, should not be held against her, of course.
The song is written by Shakeel Badayuni and composed by Naushad.

Song-Tod diya dil mera (Andaz) (1949) Singer-Lata, Lyrics-Majrooh Sultanpuri, MD-Naushad
Lyrics
tod diyaa dil meraa
toone are bewafaa
mujhko mere pyaar kaa
khoob ye badlaa diyaa
maango khushi gham mile
kahte hain duniyaa ise
haay main jaaun kahaan
ab main pukaaroon kise
ye to bataa de zaraa
maine teraa kyaa kiyaa
teraa kyaa kiyaa
tod diyaa dil meraa
gham ki ghataayen uthin
o saari ummeeden mitin
ho
is bhari duniyaa mein aaj
kyaa meraa koyi nahin
kaisaa ye toofaan uthaa
jag mein andheraa huaa
andheraa huaa
tod diyaa dil meraa
aarzoo naakaam hai
zindagi badnaam hai
dil meraa kahtaa hai ab
kahtaa hai ab
maut hi anjaam hai
maut hi anjaam hai
ghont le apnaa galaa
aaj wo din aa gayaa
din aa gayaa
tod diyaa dil meraa
toone are bewafaa
mujhko mere pyaar kaa
khoob ye badlaa diyaa

Have just seen an interview of Lata with Pakistani TV where she says that Naushad wanted her to remember her saheli (meaning Noor Jehan) and sing this song. Presumably, he wanted her to sing it in Noor Jehan style.
