In Bollywood movies, heroines take offers of help by the hero as signs of making passes on her, and she would feel righteously indignant about it. She would firmly refuse offers by the hero to help her.
In this case, Kalpana Karthik refuses to ride in Dev Anand’s vehicle and decides to walk instead in hot sun. And the stage is set for a “teasing” song.
So here is this song “kali ke roop me chali ho dhoop mein kahaan”. The song is sung by Rafi and Asha Bhonsle. Majrooh Sultanpuri wrote the song, and S D Burman had composed the music for this song from “Nau Do Gyaarah”.
The song was picturised on Dev Anand and Kalpana Kartik , of course.

I saw this movie a few days ago.
Liked it a lot. Nice story. And fantastic songs. The climax scene goes on and on – I think it was Vijay Anand’s first directorial venture and he really went for it. 🙂

It was absentmindedness on my part to mention O P Nayyar (the name of the movie does look like an O P Nayyar movie).

Blog says “O P Nayyar had composed the music”. Should be Senior Burman (as correctly says below the video)
