This is one song that was a long pending farmaish. But I was not able to post in earlier since I was unable to locate the video link of this song.
Now that this link is available, here is this post about this song from “Phir Subah Hogi” (1958). This movie had Raj Kapoor in the lead role and this song, which is sung by Mukesh, is picturised on Raj Kapoor.
This is a party song. It is written by Sahir Ludhianvi. The music director of this song was Sharmaji. This Sharmaji was none other than Khayyam, who composed much of his earlier music under this pseudonym.

Even though it is party song, there is a serious message in it. I can say now with what is happening around us that Sahir Ludhianvi was ahead of his time by more than 50 years!
Take for example the second stanza of the song. How aptly it is applicable in the context of the 2G scam.

I just love this song so much. I can keep listening to it. What else can one ask for when Khayyam saab and Sahir saab join hands and top it off with Mukesh singing the song and Raj Kapoor acting :). Thank you.

I believe the the first line in second stanza Assman pe hai khuda is ‘kisko bheje wo yahan khaak cchhanane, and not haath thamane
