This is not a gazal. Its simply a Geet. Gazal always has sher’s comprising 2 misra’s. This one obviously doesn’t fulfill that conddition.

Today is 87th birth anniversary of music director, C Arjun.

जब भी फिल्मी गजलों की बात होती है तो मदन मोहन, बुलो सी रानी, नौशाद, खय्याम, रोशन, एन दत्ता जैसे महारथियों के ही चर्चे होते हैं, ( जिन्होने अधिकतर गजलों की पारंपरिक शैली का ही सहारा लिया ) और हमेशा उस शख्सियत को भूल जाते हैं जिसने फिल्मी गजलों में आधुनिक संयंत्रों के साथ मेलोडी का जो संतुलन पेश किया और गजलों की एक अलग खूबसूरत और काबिले तारीफ अदायगी विकसित की और वो हैं ”सी अर्जुन” ।
इस गजल में मुबारक और आशा से बेहद लयपूर्ण अंदाज मे और आधुनिक साजों के साथ गवा कर ‘सी अर्जुन’ इसी तथ्य की बखूबी पुष्टि करते हुए सुनाई देते हैं ।
