Solah baras ki bhayi umariyaa

I have been posting songs from “Aag” (1948) for several days, but even I was not aware about this song.
This song “solah baras ki bhayi umariyaa” has Shamshad Begam as a singer alright (like the other songs of this movie), but this song has a “new” voice, viz Rafi. Yes, I was not aware that Rafi too had sung a song in this movie. rafi, incidentally had not become a singing legend by the that time. It was one year later in 1949 that he caught public imagination after singing a song in “Dulari” (1949).
This song from “Aag” (1948) is written by Majrooh Sultanpuri (he too was a newcomer to lyrics writing) and the music was composed by Ram Ganguly.
One can see that Nargis sings in the voice of Shamshad Begam, but I have no idea who is the person who gets to sing in the voice of Rafi. and ideas ?
And the picturisation has some nice special effects, which must be much ahead of its time, considering that this movie itself is over six decades old, when technology was far more primitive.
