“Bambai Ka Chor” (1962) is known for one immortal song sung by Kishore Kumar, viz “Hasrat hi rahi hamse bhi kabhi koi pyaar kartaa”.
Kishore Kumar in fact was the lead actor of this movie and he had sung a few others songs in this movie too which were picturised on himself.
Here is a teasing song from this movie that Kishore Kumar sings. This song is addressed to Mala Sinha and another lady ( any idea who she is ?)
Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist of this song. This song may not be an immortal stuff, but is is a nice song to listen to ( and watch).

Saroj Khan apeared in movies of late 1960s. I wonder if she appeared in movies in early 1960s too.

yeah you are right; i read somewhere that she has been around since 1962/63. and that she was also married when she started at 13 or 14 years of age

Another lady who appears alongwith Mala sinha is not SAROJ KHAN, but she was a junior artiste/dancer, who appeared in many songs of that era, and another male actor with rumaal on his head is a young Moolchand(Khai ke paan banaaraswalaa fame-Don)

yes PCji she is the same lady who is with Mala Sinha but i always thought she was Saroj Khan. now that you are telling that it is not Saroj Khan we will have to find out who she is. 🙂

The actor in both the above songs videos is different.
In ‘Nigaahen milaane ko jee chahta hai’ Saroj Khan is visible not in the prelude but asa the songs starts she sits to Nutan’s right.

Saroj Khan is the one with Nutan.

I tried to figure out her name many times, (always I am after movie credit sequences to find out her names, but her name is not credited in any of the movies, I guess)but I haven`t suceeded,
In many songs picturised during those days, we can see her as one of the sahelis or dancer or as junior artistes,(If my memory serves me right, she is there in Aaye din bahar ke Asha Prekh dance song “Khat likh de sanwariyaa ke naam baabu” Let`s try,

By the way I want to point out that this artiste is cuter and beautiful than young Saroj Khan,
I think :)(Strictly according to my personal opinion, while smiling she gets a dimple on her cheeks,)(whether Saroj khan also gets dimple ,while she smiles HELP !) I must stop this, otherwise ……….:) 🙂
