Madan Mohan is mostly known for his immortal ghazals, but he has created other genre of music as well. In fact, for much of 1950s, his music direction style was not well defined. His music during this period often resembled the music of many other sources.
His music was often based on Indian classical music, but here is a song composed by him that is inspired from western classical music.
This song is from “Aakhri Daao” (1958), but this song could not find a place in the movie and the video of this song is not available. It is such a nice song to listen to. bemused123, a big Madan Mohan fan and a regular commentator of this blog, has taken pains to upload this song with some alternative video from the same movie. I am very thankful to him to introduce this great forgotten song from the past. It is such a nice soothing song to listen to late at night. That way, it is an ideal chaayaageet song.

If I understand your wish correctly, you want a list of links to the songs of this blog. I think doing it in wordpress.com blogs is not possible since javascript etc are not allowed in wordpress.com blogs. If it is possible and any technically savvy visitors can show me how, I will definitely like to do that.
Of course such things can be achieved in self hosted wordpress blogs, what are called wordpress.org blogs.

Its just pity that such a beautiful song could not find a place in the movie. One can only imagine Shekhar and Nutan singing the song.
Anyway the audio is clean and pleasing to listen to.

Yes, there are many wonderful songs that could not get accomodated in themovie. It is always a pleasure to listen to gems like this one.
