Ham aur tum aur ye samaa

I am aware of two movies called “College Girl”. One was a movie of early 1960s featuring Shammi Kapoor. The other was a movie of late 1970s featuring Sachin. Though both these movies are forgotten, both of them had some nice songs in them.
I have posted a song from “College Girl” (1960) in the past. Here is another song from this movie. It is sung by Rafi and Lata. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist and Shankar Jaikishan composed the music.
The link is just an audio link, so I am not able to say who are the actors on whom this song is picturised, though one of them is bound to be Shammi Kapoor. The heroine of this movie was Vyjyanti Mala (as I found out later), so by deduction I arrive at the conclusion that this duet was picturised on Shammi Kapoor and Vyjyanti Mala.

Very nice song, which I vaguely remember from my younger days! I think his co-star was Vyjayantimala in that movie.

As if identical titles for movies are not enough, we sometimes have identical or very similar opening lines for songs too.
Yes, Vyjyanti Mala was the co star of Shammi Kapoor.

Even I thought this was (the more famous) song from Dil Deke Dekho.
“Hum aur tum aur ye sama, kya nasha nasha sa hai”.

That is a good idea for a catch line, Raja. In my case, I may come up with less known song, but often I am oblivious of the so called better known songs as well. 😉

This song is from ‘College Girl”. “Dil Deke Dekho” has another song with the same line, as has already been commented above by Memsaab.

saw this post only today. probably i was not so addicted to Atul world. and when i saw the title i also thought that this was from “Dil Dekhe Dekho”
this song sounds as sweet as the other one.

I guess we all thought it was the OTHER song from Dil Deke Dekho :). This one is nice too.. though that is better :).
