Dharti se door gore baadalon ke paar aajaa

” This song is like a whiff of cool breeze, or one can describe it like sea waves continuing to follow one after another. The way he has composed it is an object lesson in music composition..” It is Anil Biswas waxing eloquent about this composition of Sajjad Hussain in a radio programme.
Anil Biswas in fact pronounced Sajjad Hussain as the one music director who created original music. And indeed, I found this song a “mental massage” song viz a song that helps you feel relaxed.
Just listen to this wonderful composition. It is a duet sung by Geeta Dutt and Asha Bhonsle. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist.
The song is picturised on two kids playing childhood roles of Madhubala and Dilip Kumar. I have no idea who they are though I can hazard a guess that child Madhubala is played by Baby Tabassum (She was a popular child artist during those days). As for the kid playing young Dilip Kumar, I have no idea. I hope my knowledgeable readers will fill me in with these gaps in my information.

Lyrics
dharti se door gore baadalon ke paar aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar, aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar
dharti se door gore baadalon ke paar aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar, aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar
chhoti si apni duniyaa basaayen
pyaar kaa jismein khel rachaayen
chaand ko apni naav banaake,
sundar taare tod ke laayen
duniyaa se ho apni duniyaa niraali
jag se niraalaa apnaa pyaar, aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar
dharti se door gore baadalon ke paar aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar, aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar
god mein leke raat ki raani
roz sunaaye apni kahaani
chham chham kartaa aayaa saweraa
phoolon ki bel jaaye nishaani
shabnam aake mukhdaa choome
rimjhim barse mast phuhaar, aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar
dharti se door gore baadalon ke paar aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar, aajaa
aajaa basaa len nayaa sansaar
