It was pointed out recently to me that I had not posted any songs from “Laal Patthar” (1971). I too am surprised because I was under the impression that I had posted at least one song fom this movie.
It is never too late to make a beginning, so here I post a song from this movie. This song is one which I heard for the first time only recently when I was shown its link by Raja.
This song is a lovely semi classical song picturised as a stage song. It is sung by Asha Bhonsle and it is picturised on Rakhi. She is singing this song inn a concert and is being watched by several people in the audience, including Raj Kumar.
The song is written by Neeraj. Shankar Jaikishan composed the music.

this song shows that Asha Bhonsle was no less a classical singer what say? actually i have a whole collection of classical songs of Asha.
how many do we have here. i am asking as i am a late entrant to atulsongaday.

Lovely song. Any idea about the raag? I am an ignorant person here, but it reminded me of the song Man mohana bade jhoothe … from Seema in some parts.
