When we think about actors, we have certain images for them in our minds. For instance, when we think of Nadira, we think about a no nonsense lady always wearing a disapproving frown on her face. And it is difficult for us to magine her singing song.
But this song is very much a song picturised on her. And here she plays a club dancer ! Nadira playing a Helen like role ? Yes, it may sound strange but it is true.
Here is this song “Chhoti si hai zindagi apni khushi se ji”. It is the kind of song that Geeta Dutt would sing a lot those days, but here this song is sung by Lata. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist and Madan Mohan composed the music. The picturisation also shows Dev Anand and Bhagwan in this song, among others.

Just watched पॉकेटमार last week. Few comments.
1. The actor with देव आनंद in the song is गोप (and not भगवान).
2. . While what you say about नादिरा in your description of the song may be a good observation (see for example ), Nadira has been given a few songs to sing.
