Tera khayaal dil ko sataaye to kyaa karen

Shammi Kapoor was paired with Madhubala in his debut year (1953) itself in the movie “Rail Ka Dibba” (1953). Subsequently, he figured with her in a few more movies.
Incidentally, all these movies are obscure movies.
Here is a song from one such obscure movie called “Naqaab” (1955). This song is sung by Talat Mehmood. Yes, Shammi Kapoor lip syncing in Talat Mehmood’s voice is not all that common.
The song is written by Prem Dhawan and music is composed by Govindram.
Of course, this movie is from an era when Shammi Kapoor was yet to become the charismatic hero that he became from 1957 onwards (with “Tumsa Nahin Dekha”).
