“Dr. Vidya” (1962) is a movie which had some nice songs in it, but I have so far only posted one song from this movie.
Here is another song from this movie. This song is a “wedding night” song, where Vyjyanti Mala, newly married and decked in bridalwear, is waiting for her husband Mano Kumar to arrive at her “sez”.
This song is sung by Lata. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist and he has expressed the feelings of a newly wed Indian woman extemely well in this song. S D Burman is the music director.
It is a lovely song to listen to, and I listened to it for the first time only just now.

This blog from Dr. Vidya reminds me another Mukesh classic …. “ae dil-e-awaraa chal … it’s coming in “Readers Farmaish ” 🙂
