“Zimbo” (1958) was a movie in which a chimp called Pedro had played the second lead. And by all indications, Pedro had stolen the show in this B grade movie produced by Wadia Movietone.
I have already discussed a song (O jaalimaa chalaa kahaan ) from this movie which is picturised on Pedro where Pedro takes the act of running around trees to an hitherto unknown level.
This song under discussion is not a ‘running around the tree” song though. This song is a party/stage song amd it is picturised on a human female though I am not able to tell who she is.
The song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist and Chitragupta composed the music.
