“Devtaa” (1956) was a Hindi movie produced by a South Indian production house and this movie had South Indian actors in lead roles. Gemini Ganeshan, Anjalai Devi, Vyjyanti Mala were the lead actors of this movie.

This film was released while I was a teenager. I could never got a chance to watch this film but heard many of its songs on radio. However, one very unique thing is associated with this film which Is etched in my memory is that leaflets were dropped from aeroplane to advertise it in our small native town
