“Honeymoon” (1960) is a movie starring Manoj Kumar and Saeeda Khan. I do not know how this movie fared at the box office, but the music of this song is lovely to listen to.
Here is a delightful duet from this movie. This song is a duet sung by Sabita Bannerji and Mukesh. Only the audio of this song is available, so I am sure about the picturisation. Most likely this song was picturised on the lead pair of Manoj Kumar and Saeeda Khan.
Listening to a voice other than the usual voices is always a refreshing change. Sabita Bannerji has a nice and different voice than the usual female singers of those days. her voice is playful, like those of Geeta Dutt and Asha Bhonsle. I am not much aware about her. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on her.
Shailendra is the lyricist. The music of this song is composed by Salil Chaudhary.
