Thandi thandi hawaa jo aaye

It always makes for a refreshing change when one gets to listen to a song sung by a “fresh” voice that one has not heard much.
Here is just that kind of a song. This song is from “Sunehre Din” (1949). It is sung by Surinder Kaur and it is picturised on Rehana. I hope I have identified the lady correctly. In case I have not, knowledgeable readers are welcome to point out the errors of my ways. 🙂

Surinder Kaur has sung the movie soundtrack version whereas Shamshad Begum has sung the Gramophone 78 rpm version.
