Ik banjaaraa gaaye jeewan ke geet sunaaye

I have listened to the audio of this song many a times, and this song never fails to cheer me up. This is indeed a “feel good” song.
This song is from the movie “Jeene Ki Raah”(1969) and seeing that the title figues in the lyrics, the son can be called the title song as well as the theme song of this movie as well. This song is a get together song on the occasion of silver jubilee of a mill, where Jeetendra sings this song in the gathering. Yes this song wears so many hats !
This lovely song is sung by Rafi. The picturisation shows Jeetendra, Tanuja,Jagdeep and many others gathered to participate in the function.
Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
Here is this evergreen song from “Jeene Ki Raah” (1969). Its lyrics were provided by nahm

Song-Ik banjaaraa gaaye jeewan ke geet sunaaye (Jeene Ki Raah) (1969 ) Singer-Rafi, Lyrics-Anand Bakshi, MD-Laxmikant Pyarelal
Lyrics(Provided by nahm)
ik banjaara gaaye
jeewan ke geet sunaaye
ham sab jeene waalon ko
jeene ki raah bataaye
ik banjaara gaaye
ho o o
ik banjaara gaaye
jeewan ke geet sunaaye
ham sab jeene waalon ko
jeene ki raah bataaye
ik banjaara gaaye
ho o o
zamaane waalon
kitaab-e-gham mein
khushi ka koyi fasaana dhoondo
zamaane waalon
kitaab-e-gham mein
khushi ka koyi fasaana dhoondo
agar jeena hai
zamaane mein to
hansee ka koi bahaana dhoondo
ho o o
aankhon mein aansoo bhi aaye
to aakar muskaaye
ik banjaara gaaye
jeewan ke geet sunaaye
ham sab jeene waalon ko
jeene ki raah bataaye
ik banjaara gaaye
ho o o
sabhi ka dekho nahin hota hai
naseeba raushan sitaaron jaisa
sabhi ka dekho nahin hota hai
naseeba raushan sitaaron jaisa
sayaana wo hai jo patjhad mein bhi
sajaa le gulshan bahaaron jaise
ho o o o
kaaagaz ke phoolon ko bhi
jo mehka kar dikhlaaye
ik banjaara gaaye
jeewan ke geet sunaaye
ham sab jeene waalon ko
jeene ki raah bataaye
ik banjaara gaaye
ho o o
ho o o
ho o o

What a wonderful way to start the day! I opened the computer, listened to the laughter of my little granddaughter, then came here and listened to this song – both pieces of music to lift one’s heart and send it soaring to the skies and beyond! Thanks, Atul!
By the way, if I have not been leaving comments here as frequently as in the past, it is because a little lady has stolen my heart and I spend a lot of time listening to her laughter and watching her videos. I have been going through the songs and listening to them, just not leaving as many comments as before.
