Tadpaa ke mujhe ab chhod diyaa

“Namoona” (1949) is a movie that had Kishore Sahu, Kamini Kaushal, Dev Anand and Leela Chitnis in lead roles. In this movie, Kamini Kaushal’s father fixes her wedding with Kishore Sahu, though she is in love with Dev Anand. And as is the case in Hindi movies, he resorts to emotional blackmail to get her to marry the person of his choice. Dev Anand, who overhears their conversation, also concurs with the old man and advises Kamini Kaushal that they needed to sacrifice their love for the sake of practical considerations.
And then this sad duet follows. This duet is sung by Lata and Rafi, and it is naturally picturised on Kamini Kaushal and Dev Anand. C Ramchandra is the music director.
The video version of this song is longer than the audio version. The video version is full two stanzas longer.
The casting mentions that the lyricists of this movie were P L Santoshi and Nakshab, but I have also find it mentioned that Gulshan Jalalabadi is the lyricist of this song. It is confusing, and I request our knowledgeable readers to help clear the confusion as far as the lyricist of this song is copncerned. For the time being I will regard Gulshan Jalalabadi as the lyricist of this song.

Lyrics(Provided by nahm)
tadpaa ke mujhe ab chhod diyaa
aaa aaa
dil todne waale yaad rahe
ho yaad rahey
aansoo na bahaana mere liye
ae ae
duniya teri aabaad rahe
aabaad rahe
jab pyaar ki duniya lut jaaye
ae ae
phir jee kar bhi kya lena hai
jab pyaar ki duniya lut jaaye
ae ae ae
phir jee kar bhi kya lena hai
armaan tadap kar kehte hain
barbaad thhey ham barbaad rahe
barbaad rahe
main thham ke aansoo palkon mein
chupke chupke jal jaaoonga
main thham ke aansoo palkon mein
chupke chupke jal jaaoonga
is dil mein dard basa loongaa
ab jin(?) mein teri yaad rahe
teri yaad rahe
o jaanewaale tu kya jaane
ro ro ke jawaani kehti hai
jaanewaale tu kya jaane
ro ro ke jawaani kehti hai
kya pyaar yehi hai dil tadpe
aur honthon par fariyaad rahe
fariyaad rahe
majboor thha main tujh ko teri
qismat ke sahaare chhod diya
majboor thha main tujh ko teri
qismat ke sahaare chhod diya
ab dil ki dhadkan kehti hai
tu shaad rahe aabaad rahe
aabaad rahe
tadpa ke mujhe ab chhod diya
aa aa
dil todne waale yaad rahe
ho yaad rahey

Atul ji,
The name of the lyricist is correct. As is the case with online information, epspecially wherein there are more than one lyricist or music director for a movie, then there is confusing information available at different sites.
As per the Geet Kosh, this film has songs written by five poets, PL Santoshi, Nakshab Jarchavi, A Shah Shikarpuri, Raja Mehndi Ali Khan, and Gulshan Jalaalabaadi. Of the nine songs in this movie, this is the only one written by Gulshan Jalaalabaadi. PL Santoshi has written 4, Nakshab has written two, and the remain 2 are one each by A Shah Shikarpuri and Raja Mehndi Ali Khan.
