Ye kaun aaya ke mere dil ki duniyaa mein bahaar aayi

It is one of those songs that I thought I had discusssed long back, but I was mistaken. And I became aware of this song not being posted when I received the lyrics of this song from Atif M.
This song is so well known, even to me, that I had difficulty admitting that the song had not yet appeared in the blog. But facts are facts, and facts show that I have discussed as many as four songs from this movie, but this song is not one of them.
Better late than never. This song finally apprears in the blog.
The song is picturised as a family get together where Kalpana Kartik performs a song and dance in front of her proud parents and guests. in fact, her parents appear as proud as the parents whose toddler successfully recites “twinkle twinkle little star” in front of guests, or when a pup first barks at a stranger, much to the delight of its owner. I am familiar with the last mentioned delight 😀
This song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Sahir Ludhianvi is the lyricist and music is composed by S D Burman.

Lyrics(Provided by Atif M)
ah ah ah ah ah aha
ta ra ra rum
ta ra ra ra ram
ha ha ha ha hah
ta ra ra rum ta ra ra ra ram
ye kaun aaya
ye kaun aaya
ke mere dil ki duniya mein bahaar aayi
ye kaun aaya
ke mere dil ki duniya mein bahaar aayi
ye kaun aaya
achaanak ye mere haathon mein kis ka haath aaya hai
na main jaanoon na dil jaane wo apna ya paraaya hai
ye kaun aaya
ke main apni hi dhadkan sun ke sharmaayi
ye kaun aaya
dulhan ban ke jawaani ki umangen gungunaati hain
basa hai kaun aankhon mein ke aankhen muskuraati hain
bikhar ke kis ki baanhon pe ye meri zulf lehraayi
ye kaun aaya
ye kaun aaya
ke mere dil ki duniya mein bahar aayi
yeh kaun aaya
