I have discussed half a dozen songs from “Sujata” (1959) already and all these songs have been extremely well known songs, including songs that have gone on to become iconic songs.
So does that mean that I have exhausted all the songs and there are no more songs left to be discussed from this movie ? Not at all. When I listened to this song, I realised that a song as well known as this was not yet discussed. Though I have heard this song many a times, I was not aware that this song was from “Sujata” (1959).
Here is this nice “feelings of heart” genre of song from “Sujata” (1959). This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and it is picturised on Nutan. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by S D Burman.
