After doing some hectic journey for over 60 hours during the last few days, I am back to non journey mode, at least for the time being. Hopefully I will be able to make up some ground in the next few days.
Here is an obscure song from a by now obscure movie called “Chaandni Raat” (1949). This movie was a Tajmahal Pictures Production. It was directed by M Ehsaan and the star cast of the movie included names like Shyam, Ulhas, Naseem Bano, Cuckoo, Jilloo Maa,Parvin, David Abraham etc.
This song is a melancholoc song which is sung by Shamshad Begam and it is picturised on Naseem Bano. Shakeel Badayuni is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad.
