Om Prakash Chhibber, known only by his first name, viz Om Prakash was born on 19 december 1919 and he died on 21 february 1998. In his four decades long career, he worked in some 307 movies.
“Annadata” (1972) was one of the few movies where he played the lead role. He also played lead roles in “Dus Laakh” (1966) and “Charandas” (1977).
Here is a song from “Annadata” (1972). This song is sung by Manna Dey and Sabita Chaudhary. Yogesh is the lyricist and music is composed by Salil Chaudhary.
The song is picturised on Omprakash. The song is a background song which is picturised on Om Prakash and a dog. Om Prakash and the dog are seen going to various places by boat, bullock cart etc.
From the picturisation, it looks like the dog plays a meaty role in the movie.
