Here is another “How come this song was not posted earlier !” category of this. This song is from “Mere Jeewan Saathi” (1972). This movie was a Shilpkaar production. It was produced by Vinoh Shah and Harish Shah. Ravi Nagaich was the director and the movie had Rajesh Khanna, Tanuja, Bindu, Rajendranath, Sujit Kumar, Utpal Dutt, Helen, Nazir Hussain, K.N.Singh, Sulochana Latkar, Krishna Kant, Brahmchari, Renu, Sonu, V.D.Puranik, Gurnam, Sabina, Vijay Dewan, Mohan, Arun Bose, Fazloo, Kabir Kumar, Mamaaji etc in it.
Here is a Helen song from “Mere Jeewan Saathi” (1972). The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. It is picturised on Helen trying to seduce a visually impaired Rajesh Khanna. Rajesh Khanna unable to see ? In that case Helen’s gyrations and state of dishabille is unlikely to leave much impression on Rajesh Khanna, I am sure. Only the audio is likely to be of any use in a situation like this. And there is no doubt that Asha Bhonsle is at her seductive best in this song.

I agree that Hindi films will never have a dancer like Helenji. And on top of it if you consider the personal life of Helen in those days! She was in a hell, working for pittance, she never had any life! I thank Salim Saheb for marrying her and giving her the happiness that was due to her. I salute the Khans for taking good care of her. We all love you Helenji!

I just saw this movie may be 6th time on my dvd just few days back. Atulji, kya baat hai aajkal aap Helan ji ke pechhe pade hai. 🙂 . I love all her songs/dances. In every dance, she has created a different identity of herself. We have heard people saying so many times that aisa kalakaar/MD/Singer kabhi nahin hoga. Same thing can be said for Helan- aisi dancer hindi movies ko kabhi milegi? Thanks for the song.
