“Ek Hi Raasta”(1956) was produced and directed by B R Chopra. As was his wont, this movie too was on a socially progressive theme of widow remarriage which was quite bold for the time and as a result it was a commercially risky proposition for the movie. But B R Chopra pulled it off and the movie became a commercial success and it was critically acclaimed too.
The movie had some very nice songs in it that are nicely picturised. I have discussed two songs from this movie including the well known song Chali gori pee ke milan ko chali.
Here is a song from this movie which is quite less known but it is a great fun song to listen and watch. The picturisation of the song shows small kids singing and dancing about the elder brother bringing a gori wife for himself from London and can they too may have gori brides for themselves please !
The fun song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and chorus. It is written by Majrooh Sultanpuri. Music is composed by Hemant Kumar.

Excellent children’s song,melodious,funny and hummable.
