“Miss Cocacola” (1955) was a Danny Production movie. It was directed by Kedar Kapoor. Starcast of the movie included names like Shammi Kapoor, Geeta Bali, Lalita Pawar, Om Prakash, Johnny Walker, Helen,Kuldip Kaur, Kamal Kapoor, Mumtaz Begum. This movie was Shammi Kapoor’s movie from his pre stardom days and a movie where he acted opposite Geeta Bali, his would be wife. Unfortunately the prints of this movie are not available. Not just public, even Shammi Kapoor had not seen this movie and it was Shammi Kapoor’s fond wish to be able to see this movie.
Fortunately, audio of the songs from this movie are available. I have discussed three songs from this movie in the past. Here is another song from the movie.
This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by O P Nayyar.
Since O P Nayyar would use the same singer to lip sync for several actors in the same movie, it is difficult to guess how and on whom this song was picturised. Possible candidates are Geeta Bali, Kuldip Kaur and Helen. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter. The song sounds like a club song/ bar song to me though.

Atul ji,
If not in the looks,but at least in one matter I have beaten Shammi Kapoor hollow.I had seen the movie in the Theatre,though I repented afterwards !
