I should have been born in 60`s to enjoy all the peroformances of these legends on BIG SCREEN and I would not have missed all these b/w movies containing A class Music. Its my bad luck that I had spent my childhood by listening to the music of substandard 80`s. SIGH….
Ashaji`s singing especially “EH”by throwing her voice,
Uhh Excellent,Sheer MAGIC. I am not having enough of it.

I have always loved this song and never forgot it.Sometimes when someone echos what appeals to you, you feel good at having company.:) Like Prakashchandra Ji mentioned the ‘ Eh’ from Ashaji has stayed entrenched in my memory. I too find it sheer Magic.
PrakshJi , I am fortunate to have lived through those magical years (in school and mad after HFM)
Recall ‘Hai unki woh nighahen’ from same movie? 🙂

Thank you K.S.Shenoy ji for company, Yes, all the songs from this movie are very good.
I envy you for spending your time through all those magical years. You are lucky. Hum tho Bud naseeb hain. We have to satisfy ourselves by watching on big screen “Tamma tamma loge” or “Dhak Dhak karne laga” or “Main tera tota, tu meri maina” or “Sarkhaiyo lo khatiyaa” or “Angnaa mein baabaa dwaare pe maa” or “main tho raste pe jaa raha tha..teri naani mare tho main kya karoon”
So much for the crass lyrics and filthy musical compositions in the name of comedy.
Further this song also reminds me of Tax Driver GEMS:
“Jeene do aur jeeyo chadthi jawaani ke din hai”
“Di jale tho jale, gham pale tho pale, kissi ki na sunn gaaye jaa”

I knew this song very well, But in between I almost forgot this song. How can I ???
During early cable t.v.days, Sahara T.v.Channel used to telecast this song, almost thrice a week, in its morning slot of b/w movie songs.
Thanks for reminding me this favourite of mine. Everyday I make it a point to not listen Asha ji and Lata ji intentinally , But they keep coming back to me everyday by this way.
