“Elaan” (1947), a Mehboob Production movie, was produced and directed by Mehboob Khan. The movie had Surendra, Munawwar Sultana, Zebunissa, Agha, Shahnawaz, W. M. Khan, Leela Mishra, Rita, Shaheda, Subhasini, Reehan, Mohammad Afzal etc in it.
This movie had several nice songs in it and three of these songs have been discussed in the past. Here is a song from this movie which is sung by Ameerbai Karnataki, one of my favourite singers of that era. The song is picturised on Munawwar Sultana (I guess).
Zia Sarhadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad.
