India got its independence on 15 august 1947 and today the country is celebrating its 65th independence day. Getting independence is one thing, but sustaining it and ensuring that the nation lives up to the dreams of those who worked for the freedom of the nation is quite another. It is good to know that the nation is following a policy of peaceful coexistence with other nations.
“Lambe Haath” (1960) was a D M Movies production. It was directed by Krishna Malik. The movie had Naaz, Daisy Irani, Naazi, Rajen Haksar, Mridula, Mehmood etc in it.
Here is a song from “Lambe Haath” (1960) which exhorts children to follow and live up to the high ideals that the nation has set for itself. This song is sung by Rafi. Anjaan is the lyricist. Music is composed by G S Kohli.
Only the audio of this song available and so it is difficult to tell how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter.

Surprised that this song is not posted before.
Very nice patriotic song. Rafi has sung countless patriotic songs and its just a beautiful addition.
