“Naag Mandir” (1966) was a Mayur Kala Pictures movie. It was directed by Shantilal Soni. The movie had Mahipal, Vijaya Chaudhary, Indira Bansal, B M Vyas etc in it.
Makers of this B grade movie had signed up an up and coming music director duo for their movie. The music director duo were none other than Laxmikant Pyarelal. By the time this movie got released, Laxmikant Pyarelal were already in the big league.
Today (3 september) is the birthday of Pyarelal Sharma, one half of this music director duo. This duo dominated Hindi movie music for decades and ended up as becoming one of the most prolific music directors of all time.
On this occasion, here is a song from “Naag Mandir” (1966). This song is sung by Lata. Bharat Vyas is the lyricist.

the song has seen it’s heydays..
