Maa pyaari maa god mein khela bachpan mera

“Aaina”(1944) was an R D Production movie. This movie was directed by S M Yusuf. The movie had Trilok Kapoor, Husn Bano, Kaushlya, Yakub, Gope etc in it.
Here is a song from this movie. This song is sung by Kaushalya. Pt Phani is the lyricist. Music is composed by Fateh Ali Khan.
Only the audio of this song is avaailable. But seeing that the name of Kaushalya appears in the cast, I guess that the song was picturised on her as well.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Mr Sadanand Kamath. I, like him, wonder whether the music director of this movie is the father of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and grandfather of Rahat Fateh ali Khan. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on the movie as well as on the music director.

This song was used as one of the children parody song in main chup rahungi (1962).
this film has two music directors… Gulshan Soofi OR Gulshan Shafi and Fateh Ali Khan.
But Fateh Ali kahn composed this song for sure. also he did the another film: Director (1947).
After 50’s & early 60’s he gave music to Pakistani films…Do Kinare, Harjai, Shola, Baidari, Saathi and Tum na mano.
