Maryada”(1971) was a Lalit Kala Mandir Production. It was produced and directed by Arabind Sen. The movie had Raj Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Mala Sinha, Helen, Rajenderanath, Pran, Bipin Gupta, Asit Sen, JankiDass, Abhi Bhattacharya, Dulari, Gurnam, Master Babla, Abhimanyu Sharma, Arun,K Shukla, Lata Bose, Sanjana, Jankidass, Bunty etc in it.
Today (8 october) is thhe birth anniversary of Raj Kumar (8 October 1926 – 3 July 1996). Born as Kulbhushan Pandit, Raj Kumar was the most well known among many Raj Kumars that have figured in Hindi movies over the decades.
On the occasion of Raj Kumar’s birth anniversary, here is a song from “Maryada” (1971). It is sung by Rafi and it is picturised on Raj Kumar and Mala Sinha as a nostalgic song. This song is written by Anand Bakshi. Music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji.

राजकुमार – एक ऐसा सितारा जिसने न सिर्फ दर्शकों के दिल पर राज किया बल्कि हर किसी ने उन्हें हकीकत मे ”राजकुमार” भी माना । संवाद अदायगी के बेताज बादशाह कुलभूषण पंडित उर्फ राजकुमार ।।
राजकुमार जी के हर गीत से पहले की उनकी डायलोग अदायगी कभी भी नही भुलाई जा सकेगी बशर्ते सुनने वाले की नजर और कान दोनों पारखी हों ।
”मर्यादा – १९७१” का उंची पट्टी पर रफी साहब द्वारा गाया गया कल्याण जी आनंद जी का जादूभरा और बेहद कम प्रयोग होने वाले राग ‘चारूकेशी’ आधारित ये गीत राजकुमार जी पर फिल्माया गया और बेहद लोकप्रिय भी हुआ । मुझे ये गीत और राजकुमार जी कि आदायगी और डायलोग दोनों ही बेहद पसंद है और उपर से मेरी निजी जिंदगी के हर सांस से बाबस्ता भी …..
