Koi dard hamaara kyaa samjhe

“Rangeeli” (1952) was an M & T Production movie. It was directed by Najam Naqvi. This obscure movie had Raj Kumar, S. Nazir, Leela Misra, Yakub, Rehana etc in it. I presume that the Raj Kumar of this movie is one of the lesser known Raj Kumars.
Ps-Mr Harish Raghuwanshi, the compiler of Mukesh Geetkosh and a regular of this blog informs me that this movie in fact was the debut movie of the famous Raj Kumar. So this Raj Kumar is in fact the well known “Jaani” Raj Kumar.
Here is a song from this movie. This song is sung by Lata. Raja Mehdi Khan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Chic Chocolate.
Only the audio of this song is available and so it is difficult to say how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Khyati Bhatt.

Lyrics(Provided by Khyati Bhatt)
koi dard hamaara kyaa samjhe
koi haal hamaara kyaa jaane
koi dard hamaara kyaa samjhe
koi haal hamaara kyaa jaane
is dil mein kyaa kyaa armaan thhey
wo jaan se pyaara kyaa jaane
is dil mein kyaa kyaa armaan thhey
wo jaan se pyaara kyaa jaane
koi dard hamaara kyaa samjhe
koi haal hamaara kyaa jaane
ek aas bandhi thhi toot gayi
haay toot gayi
haay kismat hamse rooth gayi
haay rooth gayi
kyun chamka thha kyun toot gayaa
taqdeer ka taara kyaa jaane
kyun chamka thha kyun toot gayaa
taqdeer ka taara kyaa jaane
koi dard hamaara kyaa samjhe
koi haal hamaara kyaa jaane
gham ki kaali raaten hongi
raaten hongi
deewaaron se baaten hongi
baaten hongi
ae dard e muhabbat kyaa hoga
anjaam hamaara kyaa jaane
ae dard e muhabbat kyaa hoga
anjaam hamaara kyaa jaane
koi dard hamaara kyaa samjhe
koi haal hamaara kyaa jaane
is dil mein kyaa kyaa armaan thhey
wo jaan se pyaara kyaa jaane
koi dard hamaara kyaa samjhe
koi haal hamaara kyaa jaane

Simply melodious and soultouching… Some very close to Annasaheb ( CRamchandra) confirm that the credential to Chic Chocolate was in token of friendship / generous gesture…infact the music score is by CR only…. nonetheless, the Chic is at his best. Thanks Atulji…
