“Pyaar Mohabbat”(1966) was produced and directed by Shankar Mukherji under the banner of Alankar Chitra. The movie had Dev Anand, Saira Bano, Premnath, Shashikala, Durga Khote, David Abraham, Asit Sen, Sulochana Latkar, Harindranath Chattopadhyay, Tarun Bose, Murad, Jankidas, S. Nazir etc in it.
Eight songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the ninth song from the movie. This song is sung by Sharda. Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.
Only the audio of this song is available and so it is difficult to say how this song was picturised. It almost seems certain though that the song was picturised on Saira Bano. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on the picturisation of this song.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Atif M.
With this song, “Pyaar Mohabbat” (1966) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.
Song-Tere siwa kaun hai mera (Pyaar Mohabbat)(1966) Singer-Sharda, Lyrics-Hasrat Jaipuri, MD-Shankar Jaikishan
Lyrics(Provided by Atif M)
tere siwa kaun hai mera
maine apna jaan ke dil tujhe diya
maine apna jaan ke dil tujhe diya
tere siwa
tu kahe to cheer ke
apna dil dikhaaun main
tujhse kya chhupa saki
tujhse kya chhupaaun main
tu kahe to cheer ke
apna dil dikhaaun main
tujhse kya chhupa saki
tujhse kya chhupaaun main
jo thha mera
ho chuka tera
maine apna jaan ke dil tujhe diya
tere siwa
aaj is tarah na dekh
mujhko be-dili se tu
khel mat o be-reham
meri zindagi se tu
aaj is tarah na dekh
mujhko be-dili se tu
khel mat o be-reham
meri zindagi se tu
baanhen badha
aa gale laga
maine apna jaan ke dil tujhe diya
tere siwa kaun hai mera
maine apna jaan ke dil tujhe diya
tere siwa

Atul ji,
A suggestion…
When you post a last song of a film and declare that this completes all the songs, can you please also give the completed film number in
bracket ?

I know the completed film number, but I am not sure if I have not missed out on some movies where all songs are already completed. For instance, this movie is 220th by my calculation, but there may be some more movies that I may have missed. I will try and cross check again to arrive at a final figure.
