“Champakali” (1957) was a Filmistan Production. It was directed by Nandlal Jaswantlal. The movie had Bharat Bhushan, Suchitra Sen, Pran, Mubarak, Shobha Khote, S. L. Puri, Mumtaz Begum, Ram Avtaar etc in it.
Six songs from the movie have been discussed in the past.
Today (26 september 2013) is the 24th death anniversary of Hemant Kumar (16 june 1920- 26 september 1989). On this occasion,
here is the seventh song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata and Rafi. It is picturised on Bharat Bhushan and Suchitra Sen. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Hemant Kumar.
