“Gawaiyya” (1954) was an R B Production movie. It was directed by H P Sharma. The movie had Surendra, Sulochana Chatterji, Vijayalaxmi, Sundar, Sapru, Heera Sawant, Kumkum etc in it.

Ram Ganguli gave outstanding music in Raj Kapur’s first film Aag. Few songs such as Zinda hoon is tarah by Mukesh and Kahe koyel shor machaye by Shamshad Begum are still fresh in our memory. But, as he was not so lucky, he could not be so successful in the years that followed.
